Many agricultural product prices reach record high

Many Vietnamese agricultural products boosted exports with higher prices compared to the same period last year.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, by the end of July this year, exported agricultural products reached nearly 15 billion USD, up more than 13% over the same period last year.

This is a sharp increase not just in output but also in terms of export value. Fruit and vegetables reached the highest, with over 3.2 billion USD of exports, up nearly 70%.

Following close behind are rice, up nearly 30%; cashew nuts increasing by nearly 10%; and coffee, up nearly 6%. There have been positive signals from the market due to greater demand, leading to increased export orders.
