A hunt is underway for a murder suspect after an Australian man and American woman traveling in Canada were found dead along a British Columbia highway last week. The bodies of Lucas Robertson Fowler, 23, and his partner Chynna Noelle Deese, 24, were discovered in the Alaska Highway 97 with a 1986 blue Chevrolet van.

On Friday, Canadian police said the deaths of the two travelers had been ruled a double homicide. Canadian authorities are seeking further information on the van. Fowler had been living in British Columbia and Deese have traveled there to visit him. The couples were planning to visit national parks.
