International tourists reach over 1 million in July

In July, Vietnam welcomed over 1.03 million international visitors, a 6.5% increase from the previous month.

This marks the first month of 2023 in which the tourism industry received over 1 million international visitors.From January to July of this year, the total number of international visitors to Vietnam reached close to 6.6 million arrivals, which is equivalent to 83% of the annual plan.

Among the international visitors to Vietnam in the past 7 months, South Korea remains the largest market, accounting for nearly one-third of all visitors, followed by China and the US.

It is predicted that Vietnam's tourism industry will continue to grow as it enters the peak season of international tourism towards the end of the year.
