Inspection tour: Production and distribution of natural gas

Union Minister for Energy U Myo Myint Oo, together with departmental officials, inspected the completion status of Nyaungdon-Maubin oil and natural gas field and repairing works of natural gas pipeline in Ayeyawady Region on 10th June.

On arrival at the oil field, officials reported on production and distribution of natural gas, repairing of pipe lines and the conditions that will be able to distribute natural gas needed for factories and businesses.

The Union Minister called for more production of natural gas, timely completion of exploration works and continuous distribution of natural gas. The Union Minister and party also inspected the natural gas compressor in Nyaungdon.

Next, the Union Minister and party arrived at MauBin (South) Oil and Natural Gas Field, and inspected the site where the new wells will be drilled and the geological and geophysical information of the well as well as the existing wells that are in operation.

The Union Minister and party then inspected production process of LPG Plant (Nyaungdon) and the Ball Valve Station on the Nyaungdon-Thapaung natural gas pipeline route and gave necessary instructions.
