Infrastructure Development: New roads and school buildings opened in Magwe Region

In commemoration of the 76th Independence Day which will fall on the 4th of January 2024, a new concrete road was opened in Minbuu on 29th December. Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin made a speech during the ceremony, emphasizing for long term maintenance of the facility.

After formal opening of the ceremony, the Chief Minister and officials strolled along the newly opened road. The new road is 30 ft wide and 700 ft long, and it was constructed with the budget allotment of the regional government.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and party visited Aung Pin Lae Village in Ngape Township to attend the opening ceremony of new concrete road. The 7.87 mile long and 12 ft wide motorway with 6 ft wide pedestrian lane on both side, the new road was constructed with over 243 million kyats budget allotment by the regional government. It was undertaken by Ngape Township Rural Road Department.

The Chief Minister and party later proceeded to Hsin Khaung Village Basic Education High School in Minbu (Saku) Township, and attended the opening ceremony of new school building. The new facility is 140 ft long and 30 ft wide two-storey building and it was constructed with over 325 million kyats budget allotment by the Union Government.
