Illegal Drug: 2 bln worth caffeine was seized

The controlled chemical-5 tons of Caffeine worth 2 billion kyats which are illegally stored in Pyi Kyi Takhon Township of Mandalay region was seized, according to Myanmar police force.

The combined team comprising the members of anti-narcotic drug force searched a warehouse being rent by Kyaw Soe (aka) Arr Hlyan at 52nd street, corner of 129 street in Pyi Kyi Takhon Township at 4 pm on 23rd February.

During the search, the controlled chemical-5 tons of Caffeine worth 2 billion kyats filled with 200 canvas bags from that warehouse.  The seized caffeine are planned to carry from Mandalay region to Shan State (North) and the culprit was arrested in line with the law and the investigation is underway to reveal the chain offenders.
