Education Development :Shan State CM attends School Family Day Festival

The 2022-2023 Academic Year School Family Day Festival and Awarding Ceremony was held at Aung Tha Pyay Basic Education High School in Taunggyi Township on Tuesday.

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, State Security and Border Affairs Minister, State Social Affairs Minister, Taunggyi District Education Officer and Principal of Aung Tha Pyay Basic Education High School opened the occasion by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.

Next, students from Aung Tha Pyay Basic Education High School staged music performance and then, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye gave a speech saying that the education sector will develop when the improvements occur in the multi sectors, and members of school welfare are taking responsibility for the development of the school, and urged students to try to be outstanding in the education sector while the Shan State Government is implementing the tasks step by step for the education.

Afterwards, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and State Security and Border Affairs Minister Colonel Sein Win presented prizes for the students who achieved the all-around excellence awards in literature, music, arts and sports sector for 2023-24 Academic Year.

Then, together with State Chief Minister, the state ministers, state advocate general, secretary of State government and officials enjoyed the performance of the students and Chief Minister presented cash of honor for Aung Tha Pyay Basic Education High School and its Drum and Bugle Corps, Pom Pom Dance Troupe, Ethnic Traditional Dance Troupe.
