Earth Hour Activity

A lights-off event was held in the city of Ordos, China, for one hour on Saturday to observe the annual Earth Hour environmental awareness campaign. The event aimed to make public evocation and encourage action towards building a beautiful China and contributing to global environmental sustainability and climate governance.

Nearly 100 government representatives from the fields of climate change and energy transition from both domestic and international areas participated in this event, jointly exploring new pathways for green, low-carbon and high-quality development.

On Saturday, over 190 countries and regions worldwide participated in the Earth Hour activities. Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature.
