China, U.S. to hold climate talks ahead of COP28

China's special envoy for climate change, Xie Zhenhua, will hold talks with his U.S. counterpart, John Kerry, in California from November 4 to 7, the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment said on Thursday.

The two sides will exchange views on how to advance climate action and collaboration, and push for the success of the United Nations climate change conference in Dubai.
