Blinken to visit China from Wednesday

The US State Department has announced that Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit China for three days from Wednesday. An official said on Saturday that Blinken will travel to Shanghai and Beijing. He will hold talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and others.
He is also expected to exchange views with Chinese officials on the South China Sea. Blinken's visit to China is also aimed at maintaining dialogue between the two countries to stabilize their relations. Blinken's trip to China will be his first since June last year.
