Better Transportation: Roads upgraded in Yangon Region

Organized by Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC) Engineering Department (Road and Bridge) , the opening ceremony of the upgraded MahaBandula Asphalt concrete pavement road was held on Friday morning to commemorate the 77th Anniversary of Union Day.

After opening the road by cutting ceremonial ribbon, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and party walked over the road and cordially greeted the local residents.

Under the supervision of Yangon Region Government, YCDC Engineering Department (Road & Bridge) is carrying out the construction, upgrading and maintenance activities of roads within municipal area as per fiscal year and repaving of 13,100 ft long MahaBandula Asphalt concrete pavement road including the 5 main roads which connect the east and west of Yangon Central Business Area is one of the designated projects of 2023-2024 Fiscal Year.
