Baseless Information: Clarifying the fake news

Fake news is intentionally disseminated on social media, alleging that the arson attack by the security forces at SatPyal and LayThonKhan Villages of Laung Lone Township in Taninthayi Region on December 28th.  It also claimed that they forcibly took away the people’s property.

Regarding this baseless news, it was found out that this news is just fabricated and the security forces are conducting security operations to protect the lives and property of the locals from inhumane attacks by the terrorist insurgents.

Terrorist insurgents are launching attacks on the security forces by ambushing and shooting from the residential houses as well as planting mines. Also, fake news are spreading on social media in order to cover up their terror acts such as burning down public houses and using the innocent civilians as human shields.
