Agriculture Sector: Meeting for acceleration in Taungdwingyi Township

For the development of agriculture sector in Taungdwingyi Township of Magway Region, a meeting on acceleration of agriculture sector was held at Yanpal Stadium in Taungdwingyi Township with the attendance of the Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and many other officials.

At the meeting, Head of the Department of Agriculture Land Management and Statistics clarified the crop production in the township and farmland and seasonal crops plantation acceleration in 2023-2024 Financial Year and the officials coordinated the requirements in the respective sectors.

And, The Chief Minister stressed the important role of the agriculture and production sector for the development of the nation and acceleration of the crop production by multicrop-planting. As the government allocated 10 billion kyats from the State Economic Promotion Fund for Magway Region, loan disbursement programs will be carried out for the farmers and breeders, he added. 

He also heard reports on development processes of the region and coordinated the requirements.
