1st Macau International Short Film Awards

Film industry professionals from all over the world gathered on 30th March on the red carpet of the Galaxy International Convention Center to celebrate the 1st Macau International Short Film Awards.

A total of 26 short films competed for four awards. Icelandic short film “Far” won Best Short Film and local film “Bubble” won Best Macau Short Film.This is not the first time that “Far” has been selected at international festivals.

It was also previously selected at the Cannes Film Festival.The Colombian director of the short film “Bogota Story”, Esteban Pedrazza, bagged the award for best director, while the Belgian animated short “The Miracle” won the award for innovative narrative.The award for best technical contribution went to the Swiss film “Greylands”.
