12th ASEAN Para Games: Myanmar para athletes left for Cambodia

Cambodia will host 12th ASEAN Para Games from 3rd to 9th June at Phnom Penh and Myanmar para athletes left for Cambodia on Wednesday morning to take part in the event.

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Commander of Yangon Region Command Maj-Gen Zaw Hein, related officials and family members seen off them at the Yangon International Airport.

Altogether 126 people left to participate in the sports events in Cambodia including Myanmar para sports team leader and Chairman of Myanmar Para Sports Federation Maj-Gen Hla Moe, the Vice Chairmen, Coaches and para athletes. Myanmar para athletes will participate in track and field, swimming, football, goal ball, weightlifting, chess, table tennis and sitting volleyball at the 12th ASEAN Para Games, it’s learnt.
