Collective Cleaning Activities : Sagaing Region CM encourages the participants

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Ko Lay, accompanied by officials, inspected and encouraged the collective cleaning activities being carried out on the morning of 7 November by staff from region, district and township-level departments, members of the Myanmar Police Force, Fire Services Department personnel, staff from Township Development Department and hospital staff members within the compound of the 500-bed Monywa General Hospital and coordinated with responsible officials to address the requirements.

Next, the Chief Minister party visited the Maha Leti Stone Inscription Repository, which is located in Leti Ward of Monywa and has a history of more than 100 years.

Staff from Township Development Department, firefighters and members of the Myanmar Police Force were conducting collective cleaning activities there to preserve the ancient stone inscriptions in their original condition and prevent deterioration, while ensuring that both foreign and local visitors could explore the historic site in a clean, peaceful and pleasant environment.

The Chief Minister inspected and encouraged the cleaning activities, gave necessary instructions to responsible officials and coordinated with them to fulfill the requirements.
