Union Minister for Industry and Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Dr. Charlie Than attended the opening ceremony of the "Advanced Artificial Intelligence Technology and AI-Assisted Presentation Preparation Tools Training Course."

In his address, the Union Minister stated that modern technologies enable tasks such as summarizing documents for review, translation, drafting reports, comparative data analysis, and presentation preparation to be carried out efficiently in less time. More time becomes available to verify original task details, trace root causes of problems, and devise practical solutions.

He emphasized that critical decisions and policies can only be formulated when accurate figures and data are obtained, and that AI technology can also be applied to support MSME businesses.

He added that although assistance can be drawn from artificial intelligence, accountability for presentations and decisions remains with the user, and any suspicious activities detected regarding the AI systems in use must be reported immediately to the relevant superiors and cybersecurity officials.

Afterwards, the President of the Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network explained the discussion schedule and the network's ongoing efforts to develop human resources for MSME development. Instructors then conducted the training through practical demonstrations, guidance, hands-on exercises, individual tasks, and group work covering basic concepts of AI usage, daily workplace tools, effective prompt engineering, and the safe and responsible use of AI. Also, responsible officials addressed questions raised by the trainees.
