Meeting with PHMSD staff and trainees: Chin State CM delivered the opening remarks

A meeting with staff of the Chin State Public Health and Medical Services Department and trainees attending the Health Assistant-4 training course was held at the meeting hall of the State Public Health Department in Hakha on November 2nd.

Chin State Chief Minister Dr. Wong Suan Htang attended the meeting and delivered the opening remarks. Next, Dr. Chan Nyein Maung, Head of the Chin State Public Health and Medical Services Department, gave a detailed explanation of the objectives of the Health Assistant-4 training course and the arrangements for its implementation.

The Chief Minister then provided 5.5 million kyats in financial assistance for the 55 trainees, which was received by the Head of the State Public Health and Medical Services Department. Subsequently, staff of the Public Health and Medical Services Department and trainees from Hakha and Tedim townships openly shared their difficulties and raised matters requiring attention by the State Government through the Zoom application.

In response, state ministers and the State Government Secretary explained the measures that could be taken to address the issues raised. The Chief Minister then coordinated the necessary arrangements and delivered the concluding remarks, it is learnt.
