Cyclone Arnab made landfall near southeastern Andhra Pradesh of India, bringing severe floods and tidal seawater surges to Kakinada and surrounding districts. Local police and disaster response teams rescued multiple residents and workers stranded by rising waters near the Bombay Katta area and the Kakinada Anchorage Port.

Authorities evacuated over 180,000 people across vulnerable parts of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha ahead of the storm. Nepal's disaster authority warned that the storm would move inland towards the Himalayas, bringing heavy rainfall and a high risk of heavy snowfall.
