The Pacific Pre-COP31 summit concluded in Nadi of Fiji, following four days of high-level dialogue aimed at cementing concrete climate actions and amplifying Pacific voices on the global stage. Fiji Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka strongly urged wealthier, developed nations to bridge the divide between lofty climate rhetoric and real-world execution to ensure the "1.5°C to stay alive" global warming limit remains reachable.

Australian Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen declared that the summit successfully achieved its goal of shifting the international focus to Pacific priorities ahead of the crucial formal negotiations in Turkiye.
