Refresher Course for Law Officers :MOLA UM UAG delivered the opening address

The opening ceremony of Refresher Course No. 1/2026 for Second Township Law Officers (Law Officer Grade-4) was held at the MOLA Assembly Hall of the Legal Awareness Dissemination Training School under the Ministry of Legal Affairs, on October 5. The Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney General attended the ceremony and delivered the opening remarks.

In her opening remarks, the Union Minister said the course was being conducted with the aim of enabling the trainees to handle cases in accordance with the Attorney-General of the Union Law, its rules, model principles of judicial conduct, the code of conduct for law officers, and directives on prosecution and litigation. She added that the course also aimed to enhance their capacity to effectively handle administrative matters, as well as financial and budgetary affairs, in accordance with the administrative directives of various levels of law offices. She said the course would cover administrative affairs of law offices at different levels, budget and accounts, office inspection procedures, prosecution and litigation matters, and Legal English.

The four-week course will be conducted from 5th October to 3rd November, with 50 trainees of Second Township Law Officers (Law Officer Grade-4) from across the country.
