The jailed Austrian jihadist sues Disney

An Austrian jihadist jailed for 15 years over a foiled 2024 Taylor Swift concert attack plot and he lost a privacy lawsuit against Walt Disney on Wednesday. His lawyer argued the footage endangered his personal security. Disney's legal team countered that the segment was removed in May 2026 and noted that his parents had already been separately compensated with over $3,000 each.

The court ruled that the plaintiff hadn't lived at the address for two years, and the "concrete endangerment" was not proven since neither he nor the address were clearly recognizable in the brief clip.
