Efforts for Keeping Falam Clean : Collective cleaning activities carried out in Falam

On September 26, Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thant Zaw Lwin, together with Chin State Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Win Zaw Oo and members of the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee, inspected and encouraged the collective cleaning activities being carried out to keep Falam clean, pleasant and beautiful in line with urban standards.

The Deputy Minister and party inspected the collective cleaning activities along Vankao  Road and Taungzalat  Road in Upper Vliar Ward of Falam, as well as within the compound of the Yan-Pyay-Man Pyaye-Naing-Ngan-Aye Aung Taw Mu Su Taung Pyae Pagoda.

They also presented support items to 256 local police officers, firefighters and departmental personnel who had participated in the collective voluntary work.

Likewise, on September 25, the Deputy Minister and officials visited the Sein John Self-Reliance Preschool in Pharrhayk  Ward, where they observed and encouraged the provision of nutritious meals to preschool children and donated cash contributions and teaching aids provided by the Ministry to the preschool, handing them over to the officials concerned.

The Deputy Minister and party subsequently inspected the renovation of the district office building and staff housing of the Department of Fisheries, as well as the renovation of the district office building of the Bureau of Special Investigation and coordinated with the officials concerned to address and provide for the necessary requirements, it is learnt.
