CMP Businesses : Supervisory Committee holds coordination meeting

The Supervisory Committee for Cutting, Making and Packing (CMP) businesses held a coordination meeting at the Ministry of Labour in Nay Pyi Taw on September 25.

Union Minister U Khin Maung Soe, who chairs the committee, attended the meeting and delivered remarks, saying that CMP businesses play an important role in creating jobs, supporting economic development and generating national income.

He stressed the need to ensure that CMP businesses follow existing rules and regulations and operate smoothly without unnecessary delays. He also called for better skills development for workers and closer cooperation among relevant ministries, employers and workers.

Officials from the concerned ministries reported on the activities of their respective subcommittees. The meeting discussed measures to support the development of CMP businesses and improve coordination among relevant departments.
