Myanmar / Indonesia: Union Minister for Education receives delegation

Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein received a delegation led by Mr. Novan Ivanhoe Saleh, Charge d'Affaires a.i. of the Indonesian Embassy in Yangon, on September 22.

During the meeting, discussions focused on training support on teaching methodology in collaboration with Indonesian educational institutions to enhance the teaching capacity of teachers from 25 Education Degree Colleges in Myanmar, scholarship programs for Myanmar students to study at universities in Indonesia, offering Indonesian language courses at the Yangon University of Foreign Languages and the Mandalay University of Foreign Languages, student exchange programs for Hospitality and Tourism Management subjects at National Management Degree College in connection with tourism-specialized universities in Indonesia and vocational education cooperation between the two countries.
