Cleaning Activities Rehabilitation work in Falam and Tedim

Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thant Zaw Lwin, together with officials, inspected rehabilitation and reconstruction work in Falam on Saturday.

They observed a mass cleaning activity at the football field in Kyin Mual  Ward. Officials, police officers, departmental staff and local residents took part in the activity, with 308 people attending in total. The delegation then inspected renovation works at the Falam District Immigration and Population Office, District Audit Office, General Administration Department office and Agriculture Department facilities.

They also reviewed ongoing construction work and coordinated the needs. Meanwhile, in Tedim, a total of 220 government staff, security personnel and local residents carried out a mass cleaning campaign. They cleared overgrown vegetation around No. 5 Basic Education Middle School, along the main road in Lwei Bwa  Ward and around the old municipal market.
