India launches national heart Valve Registry

Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan launched the India Valve Registry on Saturday, at the India Valves 2026 conference in Chennai to track and improve treatments for structural heart diseases. The core purpose is to collect real-world data on heart valve procedures to build local, India-specific clinical evidence.

By doing so, the procedures administered, and long-term outcomes, individual clinical experiences could be transformed into collective medical knowledge.
