Sepak Takraw Championships : Sagaing and Ayeyawady win gold in Sepak Takraw

Sagaing Region won the gold medal in the men’s three-player team event, while Ayeyawady Region won gold in the women’s event at the 2026 State and Region Sepak Takraw Championships in Nay Pyi Taw on August 29.

In the men’s final, Sagaing defeated Yangon 2–1. In the women’s final, Ayeyawady beat Sagaing 2–0. The four-player team events for both men and women will continue on August 30 at Wunna Theikdi Sports Complex. The matches are open to the public free of charge.
