Construction Sector Development: CSD Law came into effect on August 27

The Construction Sector Development Law came into effect on August 27, following Notification No. 118/2026 issued by the President’s Office on Thursday.

The notification was issued in accordance with Section 2 of the Law, designated as Law No. 5/2026 by the National Defence and Security Council. The notification was signed by U Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
