Anti-Corruption Commission handed over teacher’s guides and university-level reference materials to the Ministry of Education at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

The ceremony was attended by Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein and Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman U Soe Thein together with concerned officials. During the ceremony, the Commission Chairman explained the objectives of transferring the teacher’s guides and university-level reference materials.

He stated that the Commission had compiled and published the materials for use and study in the education sector, drawing on the anti-corruption prevention curricula of Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission and the modules developed by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) under its Education for Justice (E4J) initiative.

In accordance with Section 16(n) of the Anti-Corruption Law, the Commission had already transferred these materials on anti-corruption to the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology. He emphasized that cooperation from the Ministry of Education is extremely important in efforts to foster a society grounded in integrity.
