Football Tournament: Ayeyawady FC top AFC Women’s Champions League

Myanmar’s Ayeyawady FC Women have advanced to the AFC Women’s Champions League group stage after topping Group F with a perfect three-win record. Ayeyawady beat Chinese Taipei’s New Taipei City Hang Yuan FC 1-0 on Sunday, with Lin Myint Mo scoring the decisive goal.

The Myanmar team opened their campaign with a 4-0 win over Singapore’s FC Jurong before thrashing Lebanon’s No Limits FC 8-0. The three victories saw Ayeyawady finish first in the group. Ayeyawady FC earned their place in the competition after winning the 2025/26 Myanmar Women’s League title.
