Renovation Works: MORA Union Minister inspects pagoda renovation

Union Minister for Religious Affairs U Tin Oo Lwin on 23rd August paid homage to Ayeikmahwet Pagoda in Aungmyaythasan township of Mandalay Region and inspected the renovation of Pagoda damaged by earthquake.

After hearing the report by official regarding the progress of the renovation, the Union Minister instructed to preserve the orginal architecture,  to ensure its resilience to the earthquake of up to 8 magnitude and to carry out the renovation works in line with the SOP of Religious building maintenance.

The Union Minister also paid homage to ThitsarNandi Payani Pagoda and inspected the renovation works, ensuring the resilience of earthquake and using quality construction materials. He also stressed to arrange for cleanliness, and tidiness of the pagoda and its precinct.
