Donation Ceremony : Offertories donated to nunneries in Nay Pyi Taw

Rice and offertories were donated to nunneries within Nay Pyi Taw Union Terriotry on Saturday. Wife of President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla attended the donation ceremony, held at Mingala Byuhar Sasana Beikmandawgyi in Nay Pyi Taw Pyinmana.

The ceremony was inaugurated with 3 time recitation of Namotasa, metta sutta and prayers.  Then, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and attendees donated rice and offertories to the nuns and shared the merits gained.  During the ceremony, over 156 million kyat worth of rice and offertories were donated to a total of 1,474 nuns from 64 nunneries in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.
