Collective Cleaning Activities : Sagaing Region CM encouraged the cleaning activities

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Ko Lay and responsible officials arrived at the Pyidaungsu Square at Kan Thar Yar Lake in Monywa, in the morning on August 22, to inspect efforts aimed at developing the city in accordance with its urban character, ensuring cleanliness and beauty, and providing recreational and health activity spaces for residents during their leisure time.

The Director of the Region Development Committee explained the progress of the beautification and cleanliness works at Kan Thar Yar Lake.

Following this, the Chief Minister coordinated with relevant officials on necessary matters and provided guidance as required.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials toured the ongoing environmental beautification and cleanliness activities around Kan Thar Yar Lake, as well as the cultivation of shade and ornamental plants, offering further coordination and support where needed.

After that, the Chief Minister and officials visited the Government Technical High School in Monywa, where they observed joint cleanliness efforts carried out by departmental staff from various offices in Monywa, along with teachers and students from the school.

Then, the Chief Minister coordinated with responsible officials on necessary matters concerning the collective cleaning activities within the school compound, it’s reported.
