Incidence of Bird Strike: Training combat aircraft experienced a bird strike

During a training flight, at approximately 5:16 AM, in the morning on August 3rd, a training combat aircraft from the Tatmadaw (Air Force) experienced a bird strike near Nyaung Hnit Pin Village, about 8,500 meters southeast of Hmawbi Town in Yangon Region.

The bird entered the engine compartment, causing an engine fire. The pilot maneuvered the aircraft toward an uninhabited area, rejected the aircraft, and ejected safely. Security forces have been deployed to the crash site and are conducting necessary security operations. According to reports, there were no injuries to the crew members on board the aircraft.
