Esports World Championship : Yangon Galacticos finish runners-up in MLBB Tournament

Myanmar's Yangon Galacticos (YG) finished as runners-up in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament at the Esports World Championship (EWC) 2026 after losing to Team Spirit (TS) in a thrilling grand finals.

Team Spirit won the opening game of the best-of-seven series, but Yangon Galacticos responded by taking the second game to level the score.

Team Spirit then regained the advantage by winning the next two games. YG staged an impressive comeback to win the following two matches and force a decisive seventh game, but Team Spirit emerged victorious to seal the championship with a 4-3 series win. Indonesia's ONIC secured third place after defeating the Philippines' Team Falcons PH in the third-place playoff.
