Special Meeting : Annual meeting of UMBEEA held in Yangon

The 5th Annual General Meeting and special meeting of the Union of Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association was held in Yangon on Saturday.

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Than Maung attended the event and urged ethnic entrepreneurs to work together with a spirit of unity in economic, social, and cultural sectors. He said cooperation among businesses and the effective use of different regional resources would help promote national development.

He added that the ministry will continue supporting the growth of ethnic businesses and improving the socio-economic lives of ethnic communities. During the event, awards were presented to outstanding entrepreneurs, and the Union of Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association signed a memorandum of understanding with the Myanmar Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
