Villages Electrification Inauguration : Shan State CM attended the inauguration ceremony

The inauguration ceremony for the electricity supply project in PhayaKyein Village, Hsihseng  Township, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, was held on July 31 in the village.

Shan State Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe, state ministers, the Chairperson of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone Leading Body, and other responsible officials formally opened the project by cutting the ceremonial ribbon, while the Chief Minister switched on the main power supply.

At the ceremony, Shan State Chief Minister U Sai HteinSoe said that the electrification project for PhayaKyein Village included the construction of a 0.28-mile 11 kV power line, a 0.47-mile 400-volt distribution line, and the installation of one 100 kVA 11/0.4 kV transformer, at a total cost of 164.436 million kyats.

He added that, under the 100-Day Project, similar electrification works had also been completed in four villages in Shan State and five villages in Shan State (East), bringing the total number of villages benefiting from the project to nine.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and accompanying officials visited the Green Gold Coffee Factory, which processes locally produced coffee, in KyaugLwe (South)  Lone Khut Village Tract, Hopong Township, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, as well as the CoffeeNeo Factory in Hopong. During the visits, the Chief Minister inspected the facilities and coordinated with the relevant officials to provide the necessary support and assistance where required.
