Myanmar's national Esports team, Team Zanaka, will compete in five events at the 20th Asian Games after qualifying through regional tournaments, officials announced at a media briefing in Yangon on Saturday. The team will compete in Honor of Kings, PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, eFootball Mobile and eFootball Console.

Myanmar secured its place at the Games after advancing to the top 12 teams in Asia during the qualification rounds. Myanmar Esports Federation President Dr. Kaung Myat San said the team expects strong competition from countries including China, Mongolia, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Pakistan, but is aiming to win medals for the country.

The 20th Asian Games will be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, with more than 40 countries competing. The Myanmar Esports Federation said it is continuing to strengthen the team's tactical and mental preparation ahead of the Games.
