Immigration and Population: Implementation of Lamin Project in Mandalay

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing, accompanied by concerned officials, oversaw the issuance of National Registration Card (NRC) and UID under the e-ID system for the students who have reached the age of 10 and haven’t received NRC cards, under Lamin project at the No.7 Basic Education High School in Chanmyatharzi Township of Mandalay Region on Thursday.

Then, the Union Minister handed over the NRC cards and UID to the students and provided cash assistance and foodstuff to the service personnel and students. Likewise on 10th June, the Union Minister met with region, district and township staff officers and stressed the systematic implementation of Lamin project in line with the existing rules and regulations. He also emphasized for timely completion of the tasks, and security measures.
