Mbappe and teammates arrive at France base to prepare World Cup

France’s national team, led by captain Kylian Mbappé, has gathered at its training base to begin preparations for upcoming international fixtures and the 2026 World Cup cycle.

A 26-man squad reported for duty, with players arriving without those involved in the UEFA Champions League final. France, considered among the tournament favourites, are placed in Group I alongside Senegal, Norway and Iraq. Their campaign includes upcoming World Cup qualifiers such as the match against Azerbaijan on October 10, before travelling to North America for the tournament.
