Painting, Cartoon, Poster Competition : Yangon Region CM encouraged the participant students

The 29th Painting, Cartoon, and Poster Competition commemorating the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was held Thursday morning at Basic Education High School No. (2), in Latha Township, Yangon Region.

First, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu and officials observed and encouraged the students participating in the Painting Competition. A total of 696 students from primary, middle, and high schools across Yangon Region took part in the competition. The Chief Minister and officials also presented honorary awards and cash prizes to the participating students.

In addition, the 29th Cartoon Competition was held in the afternoon at the same school, with 291 students from primary, middle, and high schools across Yangon Region participating.

The Poster Competition will be held on May 29, with 244 students scheduled to compete.

Furthermore, the Computer/Art Competition will also take place on May 29, at the University of Information Technology (Yangon), where 9 high school and middle school students from basic education schools in Yangon Region will participate, it’s reported.
