






The opening ceremony for the Induction Skills Training Course No. (1/2026) for Deputy Auditors and Assistant Auditors, conducted at the Advanced Accounting and Auditing Training School in Nay Pyi Taw under the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, was held Monday morning at the Nawarat Hall of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union using a hybrid system.
The Auditor General of the Union, Daw Naing Thet Oo, delivered the opening remarks. This training program is one of the priority implementation activities to be carried out within the first 100 days for the benefit of the public.
It aims to systematically develop human resources within the Office of the Auditor General of the Union and create a high-quality and efficient workplace through proper training and capacity building.
The training will include topics essential for Deputy Auditors and Assistant Auditors, who form the basic workforce of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union. These include civil service personnel’ rights and responsibilities, codes of conduct and disciplinary rules to be followed, financial regulations and office procedures, duties and responsibilities prescribed under the Auditor General of the Union Law, and the functions currently being carried out by the various departments under the Office of the Auditor General of the Union. A total of 28 Deputy Auditors and 14 Assistant Auditors will attend the training, which will be conducted for approximately four weeks, from May 25, to June 22, at the Advanced Accounting and Auditing Training School in Nay Pyi Taw.
Similarly, in the afternoon, the Auditor General of the Union attended and delivered remarks at an engineering knowledge-sharing discussion for inspection activities jointly organized by the Ministry of Construction and the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Mandalay Region Auditor General’s Office.
The discussion aimed to ensure the quality of projects being implemented under the 100-Day Plan, the proper and effective use of public funds, and improved compliance with standards and regulations, it’s reported.
