At present, across the country, the new government is implementing necessary projects under its 100-day plan to ensure that the public can fully access and use electricity.
U Ye Win Soe, Township E.P Engineer, Htauk Kyant Township said "Within the Yangon Region’s 100-day plan, we identified an issue with low voltage at the corner of Cherry Road and Gandama Road in Paung Ku-Nyana Ward. We determined that installing a 200 kVA transformer would be the appropriate solution. As of May 16, 2026, construction of this transformer is 100% complete, and we are now able to distribute electricity to the area."
The key point is that when departments and Hluttaw Representative conduct field visits for regional development during this 100-day plan, public cooperation is essential. For the time being, the great cooperation from the people has been seen and the efforts bring the fruitful results, it’s reported.
