Trade Operations: MOC Union Minister tours in Tachileik

Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn inspected trade operations in Tachileik on Saturday.

The Union Minister visited the Myanmar–Thailand Friendship Bridge No. 2 and met officials from the One Stop Service (OSS) team. He instructed to systematically implement export and import processes, ensure goods match licensed types and quantities, and prevent illegal trade activities. He also inspected corn storage and export preparations at Moon HL Trading Company’s warehouse in Sut Sai Village and viewed cargo handling operations at Wam Pon International Port.

Later, the Union Minister met exporters, importers and OSS members and urged all for cooperation to improve trade flow, increase exports, support MSME development and ensure corruption-free service. The Union Minister and party also inspected cargo checks at the Tachileik Trade Camp (Mae Yang).
