Science and Technology: Digitalization of Industrial Russia 2026 Forum

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw visited the “Digitalization of Industrial Russia 2026” forum in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, on May 20, to observe technology exhibitions. The exhibits showcased Russian companies’ use of artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, cybersecurity, digital twin technology, and locally produced applications for urban management and various industries.

The Union Minister also visited the Astra Group exhibition, learning about secure operating systems, cybersecurity applications, and software production. Discussions were held on technical cooperation, human resource development, and research partnerships between Astra Group, Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI), and Naypyitaw State Polytechnic University (NSPU).
