Head coach of Pyongyang-based Naegohyang Women's FC told a press conference on Tuesday that the team will "focus only on the game" in South Korea, one day ahead of their semifinal against South Korea's Suwon FC Women in the AFC Women's Champions League.

The team from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) arrived in South Korea on Sunday, marking the first visit by DPRK athletes to South Korea for a sports competition in nearly eight years since the International Table Tennis Federation World Tour Grand Finals in December 2018. Naegohyang will face Suwon at 7:00 p.m. local time Wednesday at Suwon Stadium.

The winner will play either Melbourne City FC of Australia or Japan's Tokyo Verdy Beleza in Saturday's final at the same venue.
