Meeting with Local Hluttaw Reps: Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker met with Hluttaw Reps

Deputy Speaker of the Pyithu Hluttaw, U Maung Maung Ohn, met with the Speaker of the Mandalay Region Hluttaw, the Deputy Speaker, and representatives from the Pyithu Hluttaw, the Amyotha Hluttaw and the Region Hluttaw, Wednesday, at the Region Hluttaw Office's Theatrical Hall in Aungmyethazan Township, Mandalay. 

The ceremony was attended by the Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, Mandalay Region ministers, and responsible officials. First, a video clip titled "The New Political Landscape and Myanmar's Radiant Future" was shown. Afterwards, Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn delivered an opening speech, followed by a clarification and presentation by the Speaker of the Region Hluttaw U Aung Kyaw Moe.

Subsequently, Hluttaw representatives discussed and presented their views. The Deputy Speaker then clarified and discussed matters concerning the need to coordinate and cooperate among the three branches of Government, the executive, the legislature, and the judiciary and to work together with the state, the Hluttaws, and the public for national development during the period of the new political landscape and national development efforts.

He also discussed the need to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the current political situation and to work to fulfill the needs of the electorate to the best of one's abilities and intellect for the benefit of the country and the people. Afterwards, Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn toured the Region Hluttaw meeting hall and cordially greeted those who had attended the meeting.
