At least 6 killed after gunman opens fire in Ukrainian capital

Ukrainian officials said that at least six people were killed in Kyiv on Saturday after a gunman opened fire and he was later killed by an officer. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that at least 14 people were hospitalized with wounds and trauma after the shooting and hostage-taking.

He urged a swift investigation into the shooting and said that all the circumstances of the incident were being established. However, the attacker's motive was not immediately known.
