Russia Signals Openness to Istanbul Talks

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Moscow views the possibility of resuming negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul positively. The statement was made during the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, where Turkiye is also hosting foreign ministers from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt as part of broader diplomatic efforts to address regional conflicts.

Russia indicated that restarting talks is not its primary priority but remains open to negotiations if the other side is willing.
